Specialty Ferry to Cape Lookout

This special four-hour trip includes a 45-minute ferry ride to and Hours on Cape Lookout, 45 minutes sightseeing cruise on the way back to Beaufort. On a large 49-passenger catamaran, during which you will enjoy the magnificence of nature’s panoramas. We then drop you off at dock for our allowing time to visit the Keeper’s Quarters Museum, the National Park store, and the east beach of South Core Banks. While here, you can get spectacular photos of the Lighthouse. Once at Cape Lookout you are free to explore, enjoy, and relax for two to two and a half hours before departing Cape Lookout to return to Beaufort. Prepare for a fun adventure! Take in all the gorgeous sights of the seashore, including wildlife sightings of dolphins, wild horses, local bird species, and more. Go for a swim or just explore the shore, looking for seashells as you walk along the water.
Your bathing suit, camera, and beach towel are all you will need to enjoy a memorable day on the Cape Lookout National Seashore. We also offer a complimentary non- Alcoholic beverage, and a snack from the CALO visitors center on Cape Lookout.
Our Kobatas are not permitted to rent for this specific cruise.
We are the only ferry authorized to drop off at the lighthouse! Book your trip online. Although infants (ages 2 & under) are free, they must still be included in your reservation.
